No one, NO ONE, is saying Jaime is a good guy. Better than most on GoT? Eh, sure, but that's a low bar. No one's saying he's a saint. Just that it made zero fucking sense for him to do that. The sex in that scene was fucked up in the book but not rape. Yeah I get where it can be harder to show Cersei's thoughts on film but they really fucked it up, bad.

Most of the people in the fucking series? I mean damn, THE MOUNTAIN? Jesus. And again, "better than" doesn't mean much here. You can have a morally bankrupt awful fucking human being who still has personal moral lines. THAT DOESN'T MAKE THEM GOOD. Jaime is NOT GOOD. He just wouldn't cross this one fucking line, that's all people are arguing.
