There's a simple answer, OP, but you're not going to like it.

Hitler was driven by a personal vision, okay? So Nazi Germany got ALL the visually striking iconography. The colors, the flags, the evil-empire uniforms of hotness designed by famous fashion designers, the works. It's iconic because it was designed to be iconic. The U.S. is visually sloppy, so it doesn't suit the evil-empire trope in the same way. Plus, Nazi Germany was successful enough as an aggressor to scare a big chunk of the world, which isn't true of a lot of potential substitutes.

As for Israel, may I suggest that you'd be better off finding another regime to complain about? It's not as if the world is short of them, sad to say. And it'll make you look less -- well. I don't think you really want to go there.

True. The nazis are ye olde time theater evil with mustache twirling included. The US is just a living embodiment of the banality of evil. It is a gray drizzle of evil over everything, with nothing exciting about it.

wow, this glorification is a real fucking shame. "banality of evil" is exactly what I would describe Nazi Germany as. What's the real horror about the holocaust to me is how Germans normalized it and how bureaucratically it was pulled off.

Also, OP said why don't they use other countries and the answer is also above. None of them have the iconography of Nazis. You see someone in a Nazi uniform and you know instantly you are looking at a Nazi. Not so much any other country's war get up.
