I had a few "friends" who figured out they could "borrow" money (and once, my library card, which she used to check out more books than I knew it was possible to borrow at one time) from me as often as they wanted because I would never say no and would always believe them when they said they forgot to bring the money to pay me back. I never thought they were taking advantage of me on purpose. They were too nice to do that!

I guess it's a good thing this was in elementary school, so it was just allowance money for candy and junk.
