I am a rare 2nd person booster. At least, I think it's rare.

Between 3rd and 1st, I have no preference, as long as it's done well.

I used to love 2nd pov for fanfic (my first fandom was a niche just for 2nd pov, it as incredibly awesome and well written).

For proper books/literature I think I generally prefer 3rd, but I'm alright with 1st.

When I write fic though, I always feel kind of weird writing in 1st, like my character is going to be completely intolerable and annoying.

It was a POTC (Pirates of the Caribbean) 2nd pov archive. The sit unfortunately shut down around 2009...? Or before that? I can't recall, but there were some really good quality fics there--they were regulated, so only submissions agreed upon by the mods would see the light of day. The result was some damn good fic.

Some of the writers have their fic posted elsewhere through the web.

I know one of the fics was No Quarter Given by Ebony, you can look her up...the link to the forum will probably show up and you'll see the names of the authors and their fics...they might have them posted elsewhere.

Alot of the fics were you/Jack, you/Will, you/Norrington...

It is rare to find someone with a kind word to say for 2nd person. Most people can't seem to condemn it strongly enough--they're almost ragey about it.
