This guy friend of mine was a really nice dude. We got along well and I liked his wit. Anyway, he had, like, a lot of power over me so he promised to use his third wish to set me free.

But then he didn't and I got enslaved to some other douchebag which could have all been avoided if I had just been set free with the third wish but nooooo. I mean, he apologized and set me free after but it really did force me to reevaluate him.
