(Anonymous) 2014-05-03 02:54 am (UTC)(link)Clean up your wounds, if they're not too serious. If they are then you need to go to the hospital. You don't deserve to hurt, no matter what.

(Anonymous) 2014-05-03 03:05 am (UTC)(link)i just want to pretty again. I lost like twenty lb last summer and put them all back on plus five so now Im worse than before. I was 115 once. I just domt want to be the fat girl anymore. I want to wear clothes and know they look cute not look in the mirror or look at picture and see that I just look huge and dumpy.

(Anonymous) 2014-05-03 03:17 am (UTC)(link)I know that feeling, OP, but don't let those body issues turn into self-hatred. You can work on losing weight and getting into better shape without hurting yourself. Please find a replacement for cutting when you get the urge. Maybe take a brisk walk around the block or run in place or try yoga. It'll get you closer to your goal without self harm. Take care, sweetheart.
Re: cw: self harm, body issues
As for the more/less practical stuff, because I also know how much I hated it when people acted like cutting was my only problem and never helped with anything else:
I'm not just going to tell you that you're beautiful, because I know I find that sort of thing condescending as hell coming from someone who has no idea what I look like, so I won't do that to you. I do, however, have a pretty good idea for what kind of mind games our culture and our popular media play on us, especially when it comes to weight. As such, I feel pretty confident in saying that you most probably look fine, because the overwhelmingly vast majority of humanity looks perfectly fine the way they are. Maybe you're fat, maybe you aren't. That's really not nearly as relevant as our shared popular media and culture would have you believe.
At just about any size, you can find something that looks good on you. The trick is finding just what that is, and accepting that just because it isn't what you see in a magazine right now doesn't mean it's ugly. Look up body sizes, including things like "plus-size" clothes if you really think that's what you are (though again, I rather doubt you actually are, just based on statistics alone). Go to a store that allows you to try things on, and just try on clothes way out of your usual style until you find something that looks good with the body you've got right now, not what you want. You'll find something. We are all sold an image of beauty that has no bearing on reality beyond making us want to buy unnecessary and usually expensive shit to make us "prettier".
I may not know what you look like, but I know how people in general look like, what they are 'supposed' to look like - and what they think you are supposed to look like. So if I had to guess, I'd guess you look great without hesitating.
(And just to be on the safe side, if you're a troll, fuck you.)
