Don't. Just don't. You have to pay cash to buy gold now. Well you can still get gold from posting and Booty Grab and other games, but they sell these gold generators that give out millions in gold. They raised the gold cap and every day you get about ten or more announcements correction advertisements for cash shop items. Sometimes two or three of these advertisements for the same item and what are they doing with the money we give them? They use it to start an adult avatar site that rips of Tumblr.

At this point I put just as much blame for gold generators on the users who keep buying the fucking things as marketing team.

I'd heard it was an ongoing shitstorm lately. I kind of miss Ye Olde Dayes. I used to be a regular back in about 2004-2007, and intermittently from 2009-2010 or so. I even met my BFFsie there!

It's like Gaia has somehow been on fire for the last year, even though it's a website. I still go on mostly just to gawk.

Ah, the he-who-must-not-be-named guy. I feel your pain.

It was the Easter Bunny getting "fixed" that tipped me over into donezo territory, but yeah that rage was already burning for too many months. The layoffs didn't help.
