(Anonymous) 2014-05-03 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)I don't have a brother, but I do have a sister and I never had sleepless nights there. They're fictional characters. There is lots of stuff you can do with/to fictional characters without never ever wanting these things in real life.
I do understand when others could never ship an incest ship and find it creepy and that's fine.
What does confuse me, as someone coming from a country where it's technically allowed to marry your cousin is, that people often react to shipping fictional cousins the same way as they would react to siblings for example and I don't get that at all?
Everyone acts like a potential child would 100% have terrible birth defects etc.
(No, I never wanted to marry my cousin, it's just not that weird/gross of a concept to me. *shrugs*)
