THB I don't get the idea of gender fluid. I'm a girl and I almost entirely wear clothes marketed towards men, like hobbies considered masculine, and spend most of my time in male oriented spaces. I still very much consider myself a girl. It seems like it would be more useful to ungender certain things rather than fighting with people about special snowflake labels.

I'm a bit wary of this sort of logic, precisely because it makes sense to me. Male and female aren't things that really make sense to me--you might say they don't exist in my little world. But they clearly exist to and are extremely important to many other people, and I can't say that's wrong or not real. I think the idea of what is and isn't a valid identity is best left to the people who think in the manner that would allow for that identity.

Agreed. The entire concept of 'genderfluid' seems to be based on societal gender roles and presentation and honestly it comes off as a sort of 'I'm not not those OTHER girls' sort of thing.
