I don't think incest shipping is gross, but that's because I never get past thinking that it's mostly a sign of desperation. Like, really? You couldn't have enjoyed the canon without a ship? You were so desperate to ship a slash/femslash/het pairing that you went with incest?

I know that's not true for most fans of incest pairings, but it really seems that way sometimes when the most popular pairings for a fandom are incest and also happen to be the only slash/femslash fish in the sea. (Looking at you, Frozen and early season Supernatural fandoms.)
