I've never seen the film, but I have a pretty close relationship to my siblings and I meet them at most 4 times a year... They are all younger than me, the youngest of them turns 10 this year (oldest is 16), we never lived together actually the only sibling I've lived with was my younger brother for almost a year when I was 7-8 and until he was about a year.

You don't have to spend a lot of time with your siblings to have a close bond with them, I am very much connected and loved by my younger siblings even if I don't see them a lot. And of course I love them and share a bond with them, mostly because we are siblings, we share DNA and we are genetically made to care for each other, but also because they are amazing people who I would do anything I could for.
