Re: Popular ships you anti-ship for benign reasons

I'm super-neutral on basically all non-canon ships. There are plenty of ships where I devour good fic featuring shipping (ESPECIALLY slash) by the fuckton, but I really dislike actually viewing and interpreting canon through a shipping lens. "Slash goggles" are just...not a thing for me. At all.

This is definitely true for me as well. But especially in cases where people are working together or you have kind of a found family thing going on, I just cannot ship anyone within that dynamic unless it's explicitly canonical. Like The West Wing. Noooooope not shipping anything. It just doesn't work for me - I think it's because in those situations I like seeing all the intercombinations between different people in the group, and seeing them as a unit, not pairing people off.
