I really don't like Princess Bubblegum/Finn or Marceline/Finn. And no, it's not because I ship PB/Marc (as exes with baggage to deal with before they can un-ex), but I really dig the idea of Finn having these older sister figures, and learning that a failed crush isn't the end of the world.

Also, there's no way PB doesn't have intimacy issues. I mean uh she's not a shotacon ahaha

Yeah, Finn needs a girl closer to his age, for one. Both Marcy and Peebs are hundreds of years old--heck, PB was friends with one of Finn's previous lives.

Plus, right now, Finn's got a little too much going on to be dealing with a romantic relationship. ~_~

The lack of age difference seems kind of hard to implement though, given how everyone in Ooo is either immortal, a different species, or aging slowly/faster. It would be nice to see him with someone on some kind of equal ground, mentally at least. Flame Princess seemed to be that for a while, although I'm still wondering why Finn needed to be in her last episode at all.

And oh yeah, especially with these last few episodes, Finn's girlfriend problems are low on my list of things I care to see. This season having less of that was actually a bonus for me.

I agree. I really liked that Finn didn't get the girl just because he had a crush on her and had to learn to move on. Unfortunately the show looks like it's back to his crush on bubblegum.

But don't get me started on the episode where Finn was manipulating Flame Princess into fighting the Ice King because it gave him a boner. WTF?
