I am genuinely sorry for what's happened to you, but I am also an actual goddamn lesbian that's been threatened quite often (granted, not to the same extent, it sounds like, but threats nonetheless) that finds the show fairly cute. I'm sorry, but your experiences don't allow you to police the entirety of the lesbian sexuality.

You are purposely missing the point of what everyone is trying to say to you.

You don't get to speak for every lesbian. You don't get to decide what should be offensive to every lesbian. Your experience is not everyone else's.

You have taken what has happened to you and you have used it as an excuse to turn into someone who polices other people who happen to share your sexuality. That's pretty gross.

Why does every lesbian think her experiences are the only ones that count? I've been through 2/3 of the shit up there, and I have no problems with people watching their escapist fantasy.
