The ones currently big that I really can't support are any of the Mirkwood Elf/Dwarf pairings in the Hobbit fandom.

Thranduil/Thorin - I simply think the issues both sides have are too big for them to ever consider the other in that light. Thorin hates Thranduil's guts. Thranduil looks on Dwarves as greedy scum.

Thranduil/Kíli - Ugh! This one just grosses me out! It has all the creepy vibes of Ephebophilia, even if Kíli is technically an adult. Plus almost every plot I see for it has Thranduil manipulating Kíli into his bed.

Legolas/Anyone - DoS did Legolas a huge disservice, turning him into a monumental asshole. My tolerance for him is virtually nil.

Kíli/Tauriel - This one probably has the most clichéd reason why I dislike it: I have a ship for Kíli already. I don't dislike Tauriel, she is not bad, and I wouldn't mind her as besties with Kíli... just not romance.
