I agree, in a normal shipping sense.. but putting it like "see something between them" is delusional, because it's purely fanon.

Sterek is not a crack ship. Definitely not. I can see the appeal of why people like it. It has basis for people to ship it. But that has nothing to do with something being "between" them in the canon. You can literally say that about any pair of people who interact if you look really hard. You like a pair because they would be hot, or you like how they interact/their personalities would go together in a hypothetical romance. But that has nothing to do with canon because it's in your head/fanon.

I absolutely am horrid at communicating, sorry!

When I talk about seeing something between them I mean chemistry. I think the actors have tons of chemistry and that translates to the characters having good interactions. I don't think they're canon or ever will be but I enjoy their scenes and translate that to romantic chemistry for fic purposes.

Oh, sorry for kinda misunderstanding! That makes sense.

"translate that to romantic chemistry" is a really good definition of shipping. It's not there romantically in the actual canons, but it's easy to translate. Haha
