If your fandom doesn't want you because you're not getting all hot and bothered over everything anymore, then drop the fandom!

I've never really had a problem being an ace in fandom. I just tell people I'm not really interested in fic, and no one really has a problem about it.

Same. I've never had anyone give me grief for not being into smut, I just find other things that I enjoy more and everyone continues on their merry way. There's plenty of non-smut stuff out there in fandom. Gotta do a bit of searching sometimes, but it's out there.
