You mean you blink or squint a lot? Or they stay shut the whole time like some kind of anime?

I get visually distracted, so I have to check myself to actually look at/near the person I'm talking to. It gets a bit awkward when it looks like I'm suddenly more interested in a flash of whatever outside the window.

Also, one of my tics is pushing my glasses up when I get nervous (i too am an anime like you). I didn't realize it was a tic until I got contacts and caught myself pushing up a phantom pair.

Somewhere between. I'm not talking with my eyes closed the whole time or do that weird thing where you smile with your eyes closed and have an open mouth, but it's longer than a blink. I haven't quite transcended the anime barrier yet.

And yeah glasses can be really easy to fiddle with. I don't wear mine as often as I should, but I mess with mine a lot when I do.

I don't wear glasses, but on the special occasion I wear sunglasses I push them up constantly. Hell, when I saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier in 3D I was pushing those glasses up the entire film. I don't know why, it's so ridiculous.

Aw no, your swimming man icon reminded me it isn't even just a nervous habit. It's like this really dumb mic drop when I think I'm making points or being a winner.

The 3D frames don't have nose pads though, so maybe they were legit sliding down your face while you looked really cool.

You really are an anime character. NGL though, that's adorable. Also, I feel like that should be a thing. Pushing up glasses as a way to say, "Ha!" or "There!" or "You've just been served." The world would be a more fabulous place for it.

IDK man, I didn't notice my brother pushing his glasses up every couple minutes...
