Friends-to-lovers cliche, especially when they fight badguys together. There's just this bedrock of trust and closeness and comradere that just needs a little push.

Smouldering UST that neither character acts on for Reasons (forbidden, unprofessional, whatever) but something happens that makes them go 'fuck it' and tear each other's clothes off.

The nice person turning into a cold storm of furious kickass because someone dared to hurt their friends/lover. Bonus if the nice person is actually the most dangerous and badass one in the story.

The nice person being the dominant partner in bed and likes being kinky. Bonus points if it's the tougher/stoic character who gladly bottoms.

I like slave-fic BUT ONLY IF they don't get into a relationship with any of the owners or slavers. It's more about them struggling to deal with the situation while keeping ther dignity. Bonus if two slaves find comfort in each other (overlapping with hurt/comfort).

Hurt/comfort in general, but especially if one character got hurt protecting/saving the other.
