Guilty pleasure fic tropes or genres

What fic tropes or genres do you like that are guilty pleasures for you.

Mine would be that sometimes I just want the most saccharine, unrealistic fluff for pairings that it makes no sense for.

And on the other hand, I also sometimes want the creepiest non-con fics.

Tho they aren't a guilty pleasure as such, because I don't feel guilty about them, but they fit the criteria.

Very slow burns
As long as it's not mega-creepy, the they've met before trope, especially if one was a child when they first met(but it's super hard not to make it creepy)
Action fics with competence porn! (aka fics where people are amazing at their jobs and it turns everyone else on)

Fic where a series of unfortunate accidents/misunderstandings ends up with someone feeling alone and isolated, and maybe on their own for a bit. Has to be a misunderstanding, though; I'm not a fan of the Ron-the-Deatheater treatment (unless the character is canonically a dick, then I'm okay with the "misunderstanding" coming about as a result of their dickishness, but not if it's over the top.)

(Fics about getting away from it all in general, really.)

I can't help it, but I love gender-bender MtF transformation fics, especially if they involve the old happy shopping trip trope. I know it is politically incorect and really at odds with the new SJW overwatch and mandatory grimdark directive, but to cheer myself up I'll still dig out a fic (usually Harry Potter-x-Sailor Moon crossovers, yay Sailor Hogwarts stuff) with a boy getting magicified into a girl, changing pronouns, going shopping and then finding true love in the arms of anyone but Ron or Snape. Of course it doesn't have to be a Sailor Hogwarts fic, and Sailor Guy-to-Girl except Dragonball Franchise will do.

Where characters get to travel through each other's minds.

Pregnancy and baby fic. It makes no sense for a lot of my pairings but, ugh, I want it so much.

Fics about secret relationships are another big one for me.

Social outcast makes a friend and finds acceptance. MLP fandom has so many of these, and I love them all to bits.

Faking a relationship and then realizing you actually love the person.

The one where someone gets magically turned into an animal and the other person takes care of it all while talking about how much they like that person and are worried about them.

Unrequited pining that is actually requited. Like when both sides are in love with the other, but both or one of them think their love is only one sided. I also like this trope when the love is platonic. Batman and Nightwing fic is amazing for this.

Unrequited pining fic and unending realistic UST, but not of that kind that everyone else knows about it and they joke about it and THOSE 2 SUPERINTELLIGENT ADULT SUPERHEROES STILL DON'T GET IT btw. Especially on Avenger fic... I'm so sick of fic where 'but Natasha looked at them knowingly and SMIRKED'.

Fighting because of underlying sexual tension. Being oblivious to it themselves is a bonus.

All of them. I love every cliche trope ever. Suddenly having to raise a baby, pining, secret relationships, the most whump to ever whump, hurt/comfort, everything.

roaring rampage of rescue, and the h/c that comes with it. man, i love that trope so much, both in fic and canon. especially if the characters are lovers or siblings.

If it reads like an enjoyably bad shoujo manga (eg: Happy Marriage!?; frucking Yu Watase stuff; Vampire Knight;), I'm in love.

When a character is magically, scientifically, or for some reason de-aged to a child, and now the cast has to take care of this kid version of their friend—or enemy!!—complete with maternal paternal instincts awakening all around.

A/B/O, but no guilt about it so I guess that doesn't really count :|a

And those fake couple ones everyone in the thread also likes! I get so into these nearly beard like relationships where they start to fall in love, and then maybe have a second, but sincere, wedding ceremony.

When the canon has a team-up of sorts (detectives, heroes, heroes and sidekicks, fucking hogwarts houses), I so dig it when someone writes a "but what if A was in B, or raised by C instead. Or what if E took them under their wing instead D? :O" kind of AU.

also lots of shipping tropes like constant pining, bickering as sexual tension, and tsundere/deredere.
