Get emotional about something ELSE than what you're saying to get the right expression on your face. Sure, you're not excited about the job. But what about the potential money you'd be earning? Or the fact that after you get it you no logner have to interview? Or that you'll be going out for magnificent food after you survive the interview? Find something else to be absolutely psyched about, and then use that energy to get you through.
Also, instead of saying things about how excited YOU are about the job, you can say thing about why they should be excited about HIRING you. Present yourself as something THEY need to get enthusiastic about. Sell your resume. Work it.
