I thought this was a great scene.

I didn't mind Jamie's rape scene per say except that it destroyed his character development built over the previous episodes (not that I ever thought the show does any justice to any of the character developments, but it looked promising).

/I don't recall the other scenes you might be referring to because I mostly just have GOT running on my laptop while I exercise/wash dishes/whatever.

Until the show addresses the scene as a rape, I've written it off in my mental ledger as a fuckup by the showrunners that wasn't meant to be read as non-consensual. (Based on their comments, I think this is accurate?) Because otherwise a big chunk of Jaime's story has been obliterated.

Until the show addresses the scene as a rape

Haha, no, the show is too bland and superficial to address anything that happened in a previous episode. Weiss and Benioff are just gonna keep on following GRRM's basic storylines (and hopefully finishing them, which he's not likely to do) while throwing in ample fodder for their fantasies about shaved medieval pussies, women getting raped and everyone getting randomly slaughtered. And they're gonna feel oh so edgy, dark and gritty doing that that a large number of their audience will applaud them for it ;)
