I was thinking the OP has nowhere else to say this, even though it's running around her head for a lot of the day? There's a reason these are called secrets and that they have trigger warnings.

Re: OP
(Anonymous) 2014-05-10 12:58 am (UTC)(link)For a long period of time, I was convinced that everyone had these thoughts but for some reason everyone was lying and pretending they didn't. I couldn't understand why it was so terrible to talk about it when it was the truth, and all I could think about. I felt a terrible social pressure to hide how I felt.
Crisis hotlines are great for being able to say these forbidden things out loud to someone. I hope you have some for eating disorders where you live. They're not just for people who are suicidal or who are on the edge. The thing to remember is that they're usually staffed by volunteers with variable skills. If the person on the other end of the phone starts to say anything unhelpful or that will make you worse, or you just don't like them, you can hang up on them quickly, or end the call politely, and then call again and get someone else who will hopefully be better for you.
