But I absolutely despise even the idea of anal sex, to the point where some of my friends (although, weirdly enough, my gay male friends seem to agree with me the most, for some reason) think I'm homophobic (even though I've dated women).

And it's stupid, because I know exactly why, and I know not everyone has anal sex the way my ex did, but I can't help it. Whenever I see those two words, I picture the moment I walked in on one of my former boyfriends having sex with a corpse.

Oh, no AS isn't my biggest problem. Seeing those two words together are, because it's not just those two "words" I'm seeing.

It's not that I don't want to tell the story, it's that I don't know how to tell it without accidentally revealing too much information that could potentially identify myself or the other people involved. Especially since I've recently become single again and not a lot of men and women are lining up around the block to date a woman who's dated a necrophiliac.

We both worked in a morgue. Morgue as in lots of dead bodies everywhere that aren't always checked over very thoroughly because...yeah.

And I'm as over it as a person can be over it, given that I was ordered my both my boss (who happened to be a witness) and the principal of my school ordered me to take leave and undergo at least two months of therapy.

I'm certainly not going to blame you for that.

Maybe someone younger and more judgmental would, but I think at some point mature people learn to accept that bizarre kinks through one degree of separation aren't horrible taints on a person.
