They made all those lovely animated music videos for it four years ago and yet still no fucking anime. Have you seen any of them? It looks like it could be fucking great. Where is my damn anime?

It looks to basically be a spiritual sucessor to Weiss Kreuz. There's basically an Aya clone and HoYay included as well.

I have not seen the music videos! I didn't even know they existed. Read a few translations back in the day, but didn't see any videos.

There is a dearth of good WK amvs.

Oh man. On the one hand, I agree with you that it could have been so much better. On the other hand, I have such fond memories of watching Weiss with friends and laughing our asses off at the wonky animation and blatant plot issues. I think I might actually be disappointed watching a version that actually makes sense.

I hadn't considered that. But would we still have the original version that we could watch when we wanted something goofy? And the new version when we wanted something good?

Agreed, I loved it BECAUSE it was so cheesy and ridiculous and none of us took it seriously.

Yes.
I love how terrible Weiss Kreuz was, but damn, I would LOVE a quality remake (and Takehito Koyasu yes)

As much as I love TK, I think a quality WK would have to be spearheaded by someone else.
