Because it is not socially acceptable to wear kilts in most places. :(

I'm always shocked that Australian men haven't adopted kilts in the summer -- it's so incredibly hot. But they barely wear shorts, where I lived.

That's so weird. On the opposite end of the spectrum, my uncle has a full Scottish regalia: kilt, dirk and all. He lives in NYC.

I love it when my husband walks around with a long towel wrapped around his waist. I think skirts look hot on guys. We need to get past this stigma and get with the men-skirt-or-kilt-wearing program.

I agree. It's very unjust that I not be able to see mens' legs.
