Gundam Wing. Not only with better art, updated technology, a more streamlined plot, and so on, but with a more realistic vision of a future that isn't exclusively white European with a light sprinkling of Asians (seriously, one part of the series is set on the African continent and there are literally no black people, not even in the background, it was surreal). Also, just make Trowa and Quatre official boyfriends already. I didn't even ship it back in day and it was barely subtext.

I'd like this. Except it would probably open the doir for a Frozen Teardrop anime. Which would be terrible.

Episode Zero needs to be animated. Badly.

I could also do without making Quatre and Trowa an official couple. Then again, I'm one of the few people who never saw anything other than a deep, but platonic relationship between them.

Oh, shit, I completely forgot about Episode Zero. That would be amazing, especially if the animation style was really loyal to the one used in the manga. Haha, I like to think the only reason Frozen Teardrop exists is because the writer was really craving a remake, since that's basically what the story is. If they bring him back on for a proper reboot, maybe he'll ditch that whole travesty.

I'd love to see Episode Zero animated and have it flesh out the pilots' backgrounds even more than the manga did. I'd kill to see Meilan animated!

I think it only exists so it can cash in on Gundam Wing. Speaking of which, next year is Wing's twentieth anniversary. I'm hoping for a reboot or something like that, but I setiously doubt they'll do anything near that huge for an AU series like Wing. It isn't UC so they wouldn't give it an anime remake. I will be disappointed if they don't do anything for it. Even something small.

Yeah, definitely, Meilan and Odin Lowe and Midii and all the pivotal background characters. Oh, god, twenty years. My age is showing. But yeah, it's unlikely GW will get a remake before the original Gundam series does.

The only thing from Frozen Teardrop I acknowledge as any sort of canon would be Odin being Heero's father. Anything else is questionable at best and the rest should just be ignored. But yes, I so would kill to see them animated. I'd love to see what Solo looks like. They could flesh him out.

Unfortunately. Bandai and Sunrise care more about UC than the AU series. Which is understandable but still disappointing. And twenty years. My god, has it really been that long?

You never know. with Frozen Teardrop and the rerelease of the show and movie on Blu-ray, it COULD come, but it'd have to be wanted badly.

But yeah, the UC/AC thing is true...

The rereleases sold decently, but I don't think they did well enough for Bandai/Sunrise to even consider doing a remake/reboot. IIRC, the gunpla for Gundam Wing still sell well though and so are the gunpla of Frozen Teardrops suits and that's what they really care about selling.

If we get anything related to Wing animated, it will be Frozen Teardrop.
