Okay.

I was waiting with a friend outside the Old Vic in London at the Stage Door sign for Ethan Hawke's autograph. No one else was waiting. Actors were trickling out and we just stood there under the streetlight waiting for Ethan. Josh Hamilton came out and leaned against the wall, waiting for someone, I guess. He just leaned there, about five feet away, staring at us. We stared back. This went on for an uncomfortable ten minutes, just the three of us. Staring.

Whoever he was waiting for never showed up and he walked away. Ethan came out a couple of minutes later, chatted with us, signed our programs and thanked us for coming to see him, which was very cool (he's super nice). But mostly? I remember Josh Hamilton. Staring.

That's...so strange! I don't know what to make of that. Ten minutes of staring. Wow.

I can certainly see how that would stick out in your memory.

I actually felt guilty for not asking for his autograph. Maybe that would have made the situation better? I have no idea.
