A lot of people still pine for RTD and say he was "better" at things than Moffat. And then whine when you point out that most of Martha's awesomeness, for example, is fanon and that she was underutilized and that RTD was a sexist and racist piece of shit, same as Moffat.

Now it is, because he's no longer the current showrunner and therefore amazing and representative of a time gone by. That's how DW fandom works.

I don't think so. I'm certain there's more people out there willing to criticise JNT's era (80's Who) then there are people who applaud the changes.

But you have to understand to the RTD stans nothing exists before then. You try and mention Classic WHo and they just brush you off.
