Re: Most memorable encounters with a celebrity

Mine first one is kinda lame and typical. I went to a David Cook concert with my mom last summer. It was quite fun, and afterwards since it was a small enough concert he actually stayed to greet fans. I shook his hand and got a pic with him and had him sign my poster.

My other one is more interesting but also more obscure. When I was in fifth grade we went on some government-themed field trip, I think to the state capitol, and the then-governor of Indiana (who later retired and has since died) went down lines of students shaking peoples' hands. I thought it was pretty cool, though I doubt he gave a second thought to any of us.
