Really, really depends on the nature of the relationship. I was thrilled when my ex started dating someone else after we broke up because the breakup was due to me not having as strong feelings for him as he did for me. I was glad he found someone who liked him back just as much as she liked him.

(They got married, ultimately, so she was a much better choice for him than I was.)
