idk, I thought EQG was cute. I don't consider it part of FIM continuity though.

Nothing wrong with this, only people who will tell you how lame it is or w/e.

(I do kinda wish they hadn't left the pony ears on those designs, though.)

I'm not sure how I feel about these designs...the ponies are so much cuter. (This coming from someone who has seen one episode of MLP.)

Uh...other than that all I can say is I don't see why you shouldn't have a head-canon for this; just because it's targeted at a younger audience doesn't mean you should be ashamed of it.

I haven't watched the movie yet, but yeah, the characters not being cute at all turned me off big time. They look so stupid to me. And they put Rainbow Dash in a miniskirt, wtf.

I get that they dodged a major bullet by keeping the characeters' skin and hair colors consistent to their pony designs (so as to not pick races, which inevitably would make them all white) but ugh. That being said, I love seeing "human" versions of them on Deviantart. There's some awesome art out there, that would make me totally down with watching an anime version of the show or something. But the actual movie? No thank you.

lol, I do like that the designs kept the same colors, but other than that...I don't find them appealing. I'm not surprised that there are some fanmade human versions of them that look better than this.

I think the stupid boots and miniskirts on everyone were done to hide the parts of the characters where the designers just didn't even bother to figure out what it looked like, but it still looks dumb as hell and their bodies are so weird and gross.

And I think Fluttershy in a miniskirt is even worse than RD in one.

OP, I liked as well. I thought it was cute, fun, and a nice snub to the hardcore fandom.

And I LOVED how Spike was a DOG so we can get away from the annoying Spike/Rarity thing and I LOVED how it pissed off those particular shippers.

I thought it was cute.

I'd like to see Sunset Shimmer return to the main canon, at some point.
She was a bit of a cliche villain, but I still enjoyed her.
I want to see what made her into what she became as of the movie. What kind of pressure and loneliness drove her to believe the things she believed, and act the way she acted.

But that might be too "deep" for the writers to bother with.
