I do, but I don't do much fancy things. I do have a bunch of colors though, so sometimes I just have each finger in a different colour. Also glitter but it damages my nails.

Lately been wearing a lot of purple.

Purple is a good color, I need to try some purple. There's some gorgeous purple linked in this thread. What is your favorite purple?

Doing a different color on each nail sounds so fun honestly. I should try that.

Also, how/why does glitter damage your nails??

You're assuming I actually have names for different purple....
This is a nice shade: http://nails.dltlive.com/albums/userpics/10034/normal_20060308.jpg. I have anything from lilac to going to th burgundy side, though.

Different colours are fun! Or you can just highlight one nail! Like have them all purple, but one pink or orange.

As for the glitter - I dunno. I've been having issues with my nails lately. They just flake off despite using good protective base coats. I find glitter makes it worse.

oh man, that sucks. :/ I don't really know anything about that, I wish I could offer advice.

I have done the highlighting thing. I had this steely-gray color but dark red on my pinky. It was kind of a weird combo, but I want to try it with different combinations.

I haven't tried this myself, but I've heard that it isn't so great. Apparently it comes off quickly (maybe a day or two). I've also heard if you use Elmer's glue (which is probably four times cheaper) you get pretty much the same result.

However, since I haven't tried it...take that with a grain of salt.

Maybe try Elmer's first if you don't want to spend the money on the OPI? Though if you want to try the OPI, please do! (Then tell me how it works, because glitter polish is a pain.)

I think it might be linked with the fact I pretty much have a chronic Vitamin D deficiency despite taking supplements. It's gotten better though, we'll see.

I like deeper purples more. And i have a lot of cool colours, I'm just not very creative (like with patterns and shapes like some people are).

Hm, that would make sense actually. Vitamin D can affect the integrity of bones, so maybe it has an effect on the keratin in nails.

Deep purples are great. I've seen a few on this thread I want to try!
