Re: NAIL POLISH THREAD!!!
17's Supreme Shine purple, I love purple in general and this colour is really nice. It also lasts pretty well.
Revlon's purple glittery nail polish, which I absolutely love but also chips pretty badly sometimes. I typically have to put a layer or two of clear polish over the top to prevent any really bad chipping.
Revlon's blue glittery nail polish, which has the same issues as the one above but I love the colour. And the sparkly glitteryness.
And Revlon's blue nail polish, this one is actually pretty good at not chipping. The first time I wore it it actually lasted a full week with no chips, since then though it seems to have heard me say that and chips after a couple of days. I love the colour though and when I was searching for a nice blue I snapped this one up.
I also have a plain black polish(that I couldn't find pictures for) that I love to wear as well and quite often default too because it's an easy colour to co-ordinate with and it's one of my better lasting polishes.
Re: NAIL POLISH THREAD!!!
And I have the glittery purple Revlon! I think I've only used it once so far (I have a lot of polish...) but it was nice.
Re: NAIL POLISH THREAD!!!
I use it every so often, it's such a hassle to get off when it's chipping so I don't wear the glittery ones as much, even if I would like to.
Re: NAIL POLISH THREAD!!!
I only have a couple Revlon (a couple being...probably seven) but I love each one. They're pretty decent polishes. I like the price and size of the bottle, too.
Zoya are fantastic and some of my favorites, but they tend to be harder to find and pretty expensive. If you can catch them on sale though, they're worth it.
Glittery nail polish is my nemesis. It's gorgeous, it makes me feel pretty, but arg is it a pain in the ass to take off. You should try the tin foil trick; sometimes it works. http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-Glitter-Nail-Polish
Re: NAIL POLISH THREAD!!!
I shall have to rectify this.Mhmm, I've always found them to be pretty good value for money, especially considering how many nail polishes come in teeny little bottles that don't look as though they could do one hand let alone two for like £6. No thanks. (Seven totally counts as a couple)
Oooooh, I shall keep an eye out for that.
Holy shit that trick is amazing! Heck even the standard cotton ball idea is good and I don't know why I didn't think of holding the cotton ball on for longer before. Doi.
Re: NAIL POLISH THREAD!!!
I hate teeny bottles. They make me sad. If I must then...alright, but they better not be expensive!
Nor did I, before I was told. We needed to be schooled.
Re: NAIL POLISH THREAD!!!
Man I found a really nice electric blue once but the actual polish was so shit, it chipped really badly on the same day I applied it and it only lasted like 3 days max. I was so disappointed because it was such a good colour. Ugh.
They're always invariably far too expensive for what's in them, and it sucks because I know I'm getting ripped off but they are becoming the norm. :|
I have indeed been rightly schooled in the art of nail polish removal, and I feel blessed.
Re: NAIL POLISH THREAD!!!
I still see plenty of regular sized bottles; when I see the smaller ones they're usually in some packaged collection. Collections can be fun but more often than not I would rather just buy the full size bottles of the individual colors.
Re: NAIL POLISH THREAD!!!
The last time I went looking for nail polish(which was admittedly a while ago) nearly everything was in teeny bottles but it could have changed around again or I just need to hunt better. That or Boots just sucks.
