Well, mathletes would probably be in Ravenclaw, but I like the idea that the people who don't fit in would also tend to go into Hufflepuff. It's great for the odd people to be grouped with other odd people rather than be hammered into a mold of ambitious or scholarly or daring.

Ravenclaw's where most of the odd kids go. I feel like the most normal kids are in Hufflepuff. Not necessarily mediocre- Cedric was a Puff, after all. There'd be a lot of kids who excelled there, in fact, due to the fact that they're not the types who half-ass things.
