I refuse to think anything before the prequels and before The Clones Wars is non-canon.

Some of my favorite books are set there and there's even some set during the Clone Wars that I adore.

Shatterpoint? It's canon as far as I'm concerned. The Approaching Storm? Canon and it was the book that made me adore Luminara.

The Clone Wars novels, especially Wild Space? Canon. Hell, those were written specifically to be tie-ins to the show.

KOTOR/SWTOR? Canon as far as I'm concerned. Unless they for whatever reason bring Revan into the new stuff, that shit has no baring on the movies and thus should not be non-canon.

Fuck these people, seriously.

Though I am still miffed that the Shaak Ti novel never got off the ground.

When it comes to something like KOTOR/SWTOR, I guess my question is what does it matter whether it's canon or not? It's not like it was ever going to interact with the main timeline stuff, and it's not like it's going to stop whatever fan activity you want to do. What did it ever matter whether it was canon?
