Jeremy Renner

Let's continue the theme of MCU actors: Jeremy Renner.

I've seen The Unusuals (LOVED it), Hurt Locker (great movie) and Bourne Legacy (thought it was terrible). Next on my list would be Phantom Protocol. Any other recs? Is Phantom Protocol good/bad?

In my opinion, his character was the best part of American Hustle (which was certainly fun, but I would have been completely down with an entire movie focused on Carmine Polito).

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters is fun. Might not be for everyone but my roommate and I really enjoyed it.

I love that movie. I thought he was great in it.

I went in to the theater (it came out on my birthday) expecting Van Helsing, but was blown away by how fun and 'I don't give a fuck' the movie was.

OP

Ohh, that's right, I saw this one as well! It was the perfect movie for me, it had everything I like: overblown violence, characters who don't give a fuck, Jeremy Renner, Gemma Arterton and terrible pronounciation of German names. And the diabetes twist was the best one EVER considering one of the guys I watched it with has diabetes. That was hilarious. :´D

Twelve and Holding is his best movie, IMHO.

Actually all the indy films he did before Hurt Locker are great, but that's pretty good too. And 28 Weeks Later wasn't bad.

I thought he was good in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

S.W.A.T. is an okay action film, though it's not really much like the TV show it was supposed to be based on from what I can tell, but it's got a lot of "Hey, it's that guy from that thing" actors in it.

Oops, I meant Ghost Protocol

I shouldn't post so late at night.

Is S.W.A.T the one with Samuel L Jackson in it? Thanks for the rec! It will go in my list. :)

It's cool, I'm glad I could give you an answer.

Yep, and Colin Farrell, LL Cool J, Josh Charles, and Michelle Rodriguez. You're welcome.
