She seemed so happy about winning and I'm happy for her. But man, I did not like her song. And normally I'm okay with power ballads but something about the melody in Rise Like a Phoenix just made me go bleh. So now I'm conflicted. But hell, my tastes in Eurovision songs never coincides with whatever wins.

I can almost never pick the winner, because they're hardly ever my favorite. Then again, I'm in it mostly for the lulz and usually think in my heart of hearts that the silliest song/performance should win.
But yeah, something about the structure of the Melody in Rise like Phoenix seemed a bit disjointed to me, idk how to explain it. The buildup+payoff combination didn't grab me.
