Concrit this shit, yo!
Welp, pretty much no one will see these but what the hell ... concrit heavily encouraged! Click on the thumbnails for the full sizes.
This was based off a joke on tumblr. While working on this I realised that I need to work on my male anatomy.
Pretty happy with this one. It's supposed to be Jean from SNK but he somehow ended up looking just like James Dean. *shrug*
I've also written a Attack on Titan/The Walking Dead crossover fic just for a writing exercise. I'd very much like concrit on this because I haven't written in a long time. (You don't need to know about Aot or TWD to understand it.)
Re: Concrit this shit, yo!
(Anonymous) 2014-05-18 03:33 pm (UTC)(link)From the expressions, wardrobe, and general poses, I definitely get a sense of the characters, even without knowing who they are (cocksure vs. timid/practical). The action's uncertain to me, though, mostly because of the legs; the figure on the left looks like he's backing up and the figure on the right like he's slowly walking forward, which runs counter to what their upper bodies say.
If they're to be standing, their weight should look more planted. eg left guy: over-exaggeration of the curve of his right shin through to his foot -> his foot is farther forward than expected, weight doesn't really "sit" anywhere -> his lean back looks mid-pose.
Also left guy rib cage looks seated a bit far back; abs should fit under the curve of the cage, and pecs are on top of it.
Clothing looks good, and color choices are nice.
