But I don't think campy performances do anything to help the cause since they only reinforce stereotypes.
I do think Dana International was more likely to change a few minds, because she looked less like a pathetic attempt for attention.

(Obvious exception is if the "wrong way" involves hurting other people, e.g. Bombing abortion clinics is most definitely the wrong way to be pro-life.)
