I'm not overtly concerned with my ships being canon. I know the majority don't stand a chance, and even if they did there's always the possibility TPTB would mess up the relationship. In some ways there's an allure to ships becoming canon, what with the thought getting all those things you love in the actual media, but... I ship what I like, canon or non-canon, and that ain't changing.
