I usually just boil oats in water, and then mix in what I feel like - brown sugar, fresh berries, dried fruit, etc.

Oatmeal is delicious with fruit (like fresh berries) and also with cinnamon and nutmeg. Oh, and some people like to put nuts in it.

I tried it out with nutmeg and cinnamon this morning, it was awesome. Also with yogurt and milk though. Someday I'll need to try using only water, just to see if I can make it in a way that won't be too caloric. I haven't actually ever watched the caloric count, but I'm also a fan of making things lighter when it's possible and still tastes good.

I've never made oatmeal in milk, so I'm not sure what the difference is taste-wise ^^;
