Riiight. Where do you people get this? Isn't it enough to make fun of them without making shit up? Whenever I read "I have personal knowledge of everyone who ships destiel" all I see is "bitter wincest fan".

NARYT, but anytime it's assumed that someone who doesn't like Destiel is a "bitter Wincest fan", I roll my eyes. As if those are THE ONLY TWO OPTIONS AVAILABLE IN SPN, FOREVER AND EVER. Speaking for myself, I don't ship anyone in SPN.

It's called tumblr. Maybe you don't venture to the tags, but you probably should if you want to see it for yourself. Nothing was 'made up'. I bet you also think they didn't lose their collective shit over the 'best romance on tv' thing on the People's Choice Awards.

You realise of course that even tumblr is pretty highly divided on the issue, and the tumblr does not have all of the destiel fans on it, right?

Like, I want it to be canon, but that doesn't mean I think it will be.

(Disclaimer: Not up to date on all the "no homo" shanenigans of Season 9, so maybe I wouldn't even want it anymore.)

Cas has sex with a woman, Dean has more sex with women, etc. Destiel is pretty much just wink pandering to the fandom and will never be canon. It's already been stated by the guy who approves the script that Dean will never be gay/bisexual lol

There's a word for "I saw these people in the comments sections being crazy, and the destiel tag is full of hysteria" and it's anecdotal. "Majority" is you talking out of your ass, and even if I'm not claiming the opposite I'm at least not only paying attention when a few do something loud and obnoxious.
