I do savory sometimes. Mostly, it's stirring in leftover salmon that's previously been cooked with some combo of olive oil, onion, green onion, garlic/ginger, soy sauce/oyster sauce, maybe a leafy green. It's based off the congee (rice porridge) dishes my family would occasionally have at home; I think recipes for those would generally cross over well to oatmeal!

Wow, good! I had not thought of using it for salty dishes, but it looks like it would taste fucking fantastic. I need to check congee now.
