This is a thing that goes across fandoms. I hate that I like every single super masculine character in every fandom I get into. They are rarely a popular character and usually only get in fanworks in group art or fics. That's not the problem.

The problem is most relatively skilled artists can't be arsed to learn how to draw masculine men. I'm so sick of people turning hairy, square jawed bears into twinks.

I get that in most cases it's because they rarely even draw men let alone manly men but damn, get outside of your comfort zones. It can only help you artistically. This goes double for people that I've seen refuse to draw the characters because they think they are too hard to draw.
