She flipped out on them claiming that her behavior was her having "autistic meltdowns" and then accused the other person who called her out of harassing her and being a creep.

...What. But. That's not how meltdowns work? Having a meltdown is like - okay, let's take computers. A shutdown is the computer freezing, might need a hard restart (removing yourself / being removed from the situation so you can get your brain in working order again). A meltdown is like... something has gone badly wrong with the computer and there's drivers crashing and things going offline and programs freezing up (I'm normally fairly verbal, but go nonverbal with both meltdowns and shutdowns) and all sorts of bad business. There may be crying or yelling or stress-stimming, but you're generally not able to do much at all, including writing on the computer in a semi-legible manner. Your brain is just too overloaded and augh to process it.

There IS, however, one thing that looks superficially like a meltdown, but is intentional and controllable by the person who's having it. It's called a fucking tantrum.
