Not my fandom in particular (or well not anymore), but the whole "Ratings going down? Lets make x character get into an accident and leave it as a cliffhanger if they survived or not!" stuff they do. Glee and Grey's Anatomy come to mind.

I would gladly go on a tl;dr rant about Glee and why I dropped it but y'know, life, choices, being 3 in the morning right now and all that.
