Re: The good news/bad news about CA:TWS
I'm not surprised at the levels I've sunk to over this film because I got catapulted into full-blown obsession after Avengers two years ago, I'm getting used to Marvel managing to cause it in me. I just have to figure out how to use this power for good!
I'm just glad I have people on this comm to talk to about it otherwise I would implode from pent-up fannish frustration. I mean I can talk to my dad and bf about the characters but I can't quite go into the depths of super-invested that I do here.

Re: The good news/bad news about CA:TWS
I don't mean to telegraph that 'hey I may be a tad attracted to this character' but my bf always figures it out, he's never mad at me for it though, if anything he finds it amusing and likes to tease me about it.
I get what you mean though, it's nice to have somewhere you can indulge in conversation about it without feeling that maybe you're going overboard(although sometimes I think I go overboard here too).
Re: The good news/bad news about CA:TWS
It's just...he's not really like me. I'm just more adventurous and cavalier about sex and crushes and kinks in general. He's like this genuinely nice person, and as far as I can tell petty vanilla. I think it genuinely would hurt him on some level if I'd be fawning over some super-attractive celebrity. And I don't want to make him feel like he needs to compete with that - cause's let's face it, no-one can compete with a fantasy.
