Honestly, I'm curious as to what you think it means. Not wanting to be around them is pretty much the definition I'm working with? And this is the second time you've conflated "not liking" with "hating". Why are you doing that?

I'm defensive because the way I first read your comment, or whoever's comment it was if you're not OP, was that you found people who didn't like cats to be disturbing and unworthy of trust - your words, not mine - and that says a lot about someone's character. And he likes some cats (a few individuals), he just generally doesn't care for them. He doesn't hate them. Why do you keep saying different things as if they're all the same?
