Re: Stuff you've abandoned as your tastes changed

Anime. To be fair, I was never a hardcore anime/manga fan and gamer like the rest of my friends in high school who tried to convert me by introducing me to the "classics". But that didn't stop me from having a terrible weaboo phase. (I actually got to visit Japan on a school exchange, and that gave me a much greater appreciation of Japanese culture and history, beyond animation.) Once I lost that friend group, my interest in anime/manga petered out.

Also books in general. I used to read like crazy, devouring several books a week. Now I can spend hours in a library and walk out without borrowing anything. It just feels like I've read it all before and there's nothing that interests me. I've especially been burnt out on fantasy novels, ugh.

I'm the same way with books, except I never could stomach fantasy. I ask myself constantly "Self! WHYYYYYY don't you read as much as you used to anymore?!?" Ugh. I need to manage my time better I guess.
